2025 Seaver Autism Center Celebration

On Tuesday, November 18th, we gathered for the 2025 Seaver Celebration, where we proudly honored Joseph D. Buxbaum, PhD, MSc, for his remarkable 28 years of leadership as Director of the Seaver Autism Center.

During the last 17 years as the Center’s Director, Dr. Buxbaum’s visionary direction has created a welcoming home to countless researchers and families, and his groundbreaking research has been foundational to the understanding of the genetic and biological roots of autism spectrum disorder.

We celebrate Dr. Buxbaum’s visionary leadership and the remarkable impact he has had on advancing autism research, improving patient care, and strengthening our community. Together, we recognize his legacy while supporting the Seaver Center’s ongoing mission to transform the lives of individuals and families affected by autism.
