Carolyn Rowan set out to help future generations of women experience a lifetime of well-being in mind and body, and receive care and attention of the highest quality. Crystal Party Honors Richard A. Friedman and James S. Tisch
The Mount Sinai Health System recently hosted its 41st Annual Crystal Party fundraiser. With more than 800 people in attendance, the event raised $5.1 million for Mount Sinai’s best-in-class biomedical research, clinical care, and educational enterprises. The 2026 Crystal Party honored two longtime Mount Sinai Trustees, Richard A. Friedman and James S. Tisch, who ended their terms as Co-Chairmen of the Boards of Trustees in March 2026 after seven years of service.
A Partnership Transforming Adolescent Care
Mount Sinai CARES (Comprehensive Adolescent Rehabilitation and Education Services) recently received a $1 million grant from The Tow Foundation’s 2025 Innovation Fund. This transformational gift will support care for adolescents with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders across clinical, school, and community settings.
