It is estimated that more than 300,000 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer this year and more than 35,000 will die from this devastating cancer. The Prostate Cancer Research Gala is one of Mount Sinai’s signature fundraising events, providing the opportunity to celebrate our generous community of donors and partners committed to finding a cure.

Annual Student Scholarship Reception provides an opportunity for faculty and scholarship recipients to connect with donors whose support makes efforts like the Enhanced Scholarship Initiative possible.

This highly anticipated evening once again raised crucial support for The Corinne Goldsmith Dickinson Center for Multiple Sclerosis at Mount Sinai, drawing together a passionate community dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by MS.

Under the direction of internationally acclaimed researcher Rachel Yehuda, PhD, the psychedelic psychotherapy research center is now renamed The Parsons Research Center for Psychedelic Healing to acknowledge the couple’s deep commitment to improving the lives of veterans and others struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder.

When Mount Sinai’s Angela Riccobono, PhD, first met Nancy Lieberman, she was struck by her patient’s remarkable determination to return to work and live life to the fullest after becoming quadriplegic. Neither could have anticipated the profound impact this meeting would have on their lives and the countless future patients with spinal cord injuries.
