Swimming for a Cause: A Bat Mitzvah Fundraiser for Long COVID Awareness Long before she was called to the Torah, Vivian Jacoby knew the cause she wanted to support through her Bat Mitzvah service project. It was one close to her heart. And with the support of her family, friends, teammates, and community, the young swimmer recently raised an impressive $4,775 to benefit the Mount Sinai Center for Post-COVID Care. Vivian’s project honors her beloved aunt, Jenny, who struggles with the persistent challenges of long COVID, while also supporting vital research and bringing awareness to the disease.
